SUCCESS: RENAULT USED GOOGLE MOBILE AD TRACKING

Third party ad serving has always been an issue for mobile marketing, as it inevitably leads to discrepancy over delivery. Renault were a brand that were put forward to test the Google Mobile Ads with Doubleclick. As such this would be one of the first third-party served mobile campaign in Europe. Considering it was run via many Google products (the campaign was tracked by Doubleclick, and promoted a Youtube video) it is no surprise that the results are very positive. The month-long campaign generated 25% of UK views for the Renault ZE YouTube commercial, which generated a staggering 8.6% unique click through rate to the Renault site. As well as these figures there is good news for the industry as a whole because the discrepancy between the ad serving side and the publishing side in reported impressions was just 1.5%.
