Car Salability Study: GM Korea Malibu Ranks First… Hyundai Motor Takes First Place in Auto Brand

According to Marketing Insight’s study on ‘Car Quality and Customer Satisfaction,” which is based on responses from 8,559 consumers who bought a new car over the last year, GM Korea’s Malibu midsize sedan was selected as the most salable car.
GM Korea’s Malibu ranked first, receiving 640 out of 1,000 points, and Hyundai Motor’s Genesis finished second with 634 points while Kia Motors’ K7, which secured 628 points, took third place.
By segment, the Kia Ray achieved the highest score among mini cars and Kia Pride ranked first among small cars. Among compact cars, Hyundai’s i30 GD secured the best score; midsize cars, GM Korea’s Malibu; upper-midsize cars, Kia’s K7; large-sized cars, Hyundai’s Genesis; small and midsize SUV, Ssangyong’s Korando C; and mini vans, GM Korea’s Orlando.
