How could the US ban affect Galaxy's sales in other markets? How about in terms of media?
1. A potential lawsuit could be brought upon Samsung in the international courts. Citing the US win provides a strong case against the sale of Galaxy phones around the world.
2. Limiting the sales location of the Galaxy phones, especially in a market with a high concentration of technological advancements, could in turn shrink the development of software and apps on an Android platform. All developers would be opting for iOS as Apple assumes a monopoly.
3. This affects all markets as a development of an app or software has applications on a global level.
4. Without variety and innovation, the manner in which apps for games, social and video are accessed could in turn affect display ad formatting and also the way media is bought and sold.
