An Evening of Connoisseurship with BMW

Robb Report and BMW invited a select group of subscribers to have a personal extended test drive for up to 72 hours of a BMW 6 or 7 Series Model. These special guests were invited to an evening of Connoisseurship to share their experience with lead designers from BMW Group DesignWorks USA and executives from BMW North America. In early June, BMW’s 6 Series and 7 Series models ushered local guests from their homes to an exclusive soiree, complete with hors d’oeuvres, wine and cocktails. Guests were escorted to the stunning Malibu home designed by Masud Sarshar and architect Doug Burdge. Upon arrival, guests were greeted with the display of a 2012 BMW M6 Convertible and a 2013 BMW M6 Coupe, modeling their prestige amid the picturesque backdrop of the Malibu sunset and the stunning oceanfront residence. Cocktails and limited production Napa Valley wines by William Cole Vineyards and Fantesca Estate & Winery were served to the guests. Armed with sweet and savory notes, the Napa Valley varietals complemented the dulcet acoustics from a Spanish style guitarist. The evening concluded with guests enjoying an array of tiered, miniature desserts and cordials served on the rooftop deck while overlooking the moonlit skyline.
